nicao's 65% Hakko Ginger Dark Chocolate combines our 70% Dark Chocolate, made with cacao beans imported directly from a family-run farm in Guatemala and unrefined beet sugar from Hokkaido, with ginger, lemon and chilli from HAKKO GINGER.
Starting with our 70% Dark Chocolate, we add ingredients from HAKKO GINGER, bringing the cacao content of the finished bar to 65%.
We use Hokkaido-grown ginger, organic lemon and organic chilli in two forms: as powders and as caramelised pieces. The aroma of ginger, the acidity of lemon and the gentle heat of chilli come together with the texture of the caramelised ingredients.
Each 50g bar is divided into 15 segments, making it easy to enjoy a little at a time or share with others.
